Saturday……Galatians 2:20

May 11, 2013 Annette Daily Inspiration

These verses are calling me today.  I feel pretty crummy today, nauseous, tired, sore jaws, and chilled, but so far not too much aching {so that’s good}.  So, I got to thinking about Galatians 2:20 ~ “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”  This reminds me that Christ is living in me, and walking with me. He knows exactly how I feel, physically and emotionally. And by faith, I know that all of this is for a purpose and will {and is} bring about Blessings.  When I can make sure my emotions are under control I want to sing that song in church, Blessings by Laura Story.

Pat {my mother-in-law} has come back down to help out again.  That’s a blessing.  She’s once again cooked good food and washed up laundry.

Our electric has been out since around 3:00 this morning.  Thankfully we have a generator so we have lights and the fridge and freezer run and we have water.  Before we had the generator and the electric went out {which is does here, a lot} we’d have to go to the creek to get water to flush the commodes. Can’t run the washer, dryer but that’s OK.  Mac and Eddie came over to hang out this afternoon since they don’t have electric and Mac offered to cook supper.  Pat and I told him to go for it.  So he’s cooking chicken wrapped in bacon, potatoes and I don’t know what all, but it sure smells good.  Blessings.

Eddie is laying down and taking a nap now, but when he came in with his daddy {Eddie calls Mac ‘Poppa’} and I saw this huge smile on his face I knew how blessed I am to have this little fellow in my life.  And…..we should be having another one pretty soon.  Keep Traci in your prayers, she’s due in a little over a week, and we sure are looking forward to meeting little Josie.

So glad Pat is close enough to come an help. When I am feeling down, I often start counting my blessings to as simplest 1 I woke up this morning, 2 I can breath on my own with out assistance, 3 both my legs work an I can walk where ever I want. Makes you realize how abundantly we are blessed.
    Praying for you

I just wanted you to know that you are never far from my thoughts and prayers. I know this cancer doesn’t have a chance against you! Your faith is an inspiration to all who know you.

Your writing is SO good! I can picture everyone there; Mac cooking in your amazing kitchen; and how much Eddie must be growing! And to think Josie is almost here…you do have much rejoicing to do, no matter the day’s challlenges. Marilyn asked about you when we last talked, and we pray for your strength and witness. May God give you everything you need and more.
